I need a simple recipe for Cornbread dressing?

I've tasted some with turkey giblets and sage, celery and onions. I'd appreciate any information you can provide. Thank you. I need a simple recipe for Cornbread dressing?
I make mine from scratch, so this is an ';approximation'; recipe:

Place two to three pieces of bread out overnight, covered. They should harden slightly.

Use 1 box of Martha White Cornbread Mix to instructions (Jiffy will be sweeter, so if you like that taste, use Jiffy. Martha White is not as sweet as Jiffy.) Allow to cool.

In the meantime, cut two to three stalks of celery into 1/2 inch chunks (don't make them too big, or too skinny). Cut 1/2 a sweet onion (perferably Vidalia) into small chunks. Then, cut 1 medium-sized apple (like a Fuji, Braeburn ... use whatever you got, though). Slice hardened bread with a bread knife into 1 inch pieces.

Crumble cooled corn bread with your hands, but don't mush it up. Mix up the corn bread, and other ingredients into a large bowl. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sage. Pour in maybe 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth and mix. It should be wet, but not creamy or pourable.

Place into a (preferably round, to keep from getting hard edges) bake pan in the oven at 350. Bake until done, occasionally stirring and adding a LITTLE more chicken broth at a time until baked through. Once practically done, on the last toss, drizzle melted butter over the top and finish baking the last 10 minutes or so.

Everyone loves it. You can omit the apple if you want, but it gives it something extra.I need a simple recipe for Cornbread dressing?
Wild rice and cranberry cornbread dressing.

SERVES 8 -10

Ingredients

1 slice bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons butter

2 small onions, chopped

3 celery ribs, chopped

1 1/2 cups cremini mushrooms, sliced

1 cup fresh cranberries

2 cups chicken broth

3 cups cornbread, crumbled

1 1/2 cups wild rice, cooked

1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped

Directions

1 Cook bacon until crisp, remove and set aside.

2 Add butter to pan and melt.

3 Add onions, celery and mushrooms. Saute for 8 to 10 minutes until vegetables are tender.

4 Add cranberries and chicken broth. Bring to boil, then remove from heat.

5 Add corn bread, cooked wild rice, pecans and bacon.

6 Add salt and pepper to taste.

7 Roast inside turkey or in casserole dish (about 30 minutes at 350 degrees).

I make two packages of corn bread mix...not the sweet kind. and one package of bisquick mix. Bake and crumble fine.

Chop %26amp; boil a whole stalk of celery with one large onion (you can add a stick of butter to make in richer)

Chop fine: Add to your bread. Add generously poultry seasoning.

Use chicken broth or broth from your turkey to moisten. Actually you want it fairly moist. Bake 350 for approx 30 minutes

It depends on your taste about the poultry seasoning. Maybe 3 tablespoons? All your ingredents are cooked, so it does not hurt to taste it to see if you want more.
